The purpose of this visit is to make significant progress on ongoing projects with local researchers in Edinburgh. Gurtej Kanwar is working with Fernando on the application of normalizing flows to the sampling and variance reduction of lattice QCD observables. During his visit, we will make progress on current collaboration work and initiate a new project on normalizing flows. Fernando also collaborates with Max Hansen on three-hadron scattering. During this visit, they aim to make progress on the implementation and derivation of the finite-volume formalism.
