The purpose of this visit is to discuss with the members of the statistical physics and complexity group at the Higgs Centre, in particular Martin Evans and Richard Blythe, together with experts in field-theoretical methods, in particular Arjun Berera. Prof Canet will give a series of lectures on the following subject: The non-perturbative renormalisation group and its applications to statistical physics: from the Ising model to turbulence.
