Lancefest Workshop

Event description

This workshop will celebrate the career and research accomplishments of Lance Dixon, whose decisive impact has been felt across many areas of theoretical physics. The event will involve three days of talks from some of Lance's long-time collaborators, and will include a colloquium on Friday. There will also be a dinner at 19:30 on Thursday evening at Amber Restaurant on the Royal Mile. (Space for the dinner is limited due to fire restrictions, so we apologize that only invited workshop participants will be able to attend.) Finally, we plan to organize a hike on the Saturday morning following the workshop, for those who are still around!

A list of confirmed speakers will be added in the near future.

We suggest booking your accommodation early. For recommendations on where to stay, please see https://higgs.ph.ed.ac.uk/visitors/accommodation

If you are interested in attending, please inquire with the organisers.
