Probing fundamental physics with radio and optical galaxy surveys
Event description
The Higgs Centre will be running a four-day workshop on Probing fundamental physics with radio and optical galaxy surveys on 31 Aug-3 Sept, 2026.
This is an in-person workshop, starting on Monday August the 31st at 13:00 and ending on Thursday September the 3rd at 14:00.
The workshop aims to discuss progress and challenges in large scale structure cosmology in both radio and optical wavelengths at theoretical and observational level. The main focus is
- Status of the latest optical and 21cm cosmological surveys
- Constraints on fundamental physics in the cosmological model from LSS surveys
- Challenges in interpreting the survey data, from observational systematics to statistical inference techniques
- Modelling and simulation efforts towards precision cosmology with radio and optical surveys
This workshop will involve two days of talks and two days of discussions and hands-on work sessions.
THIS EVENT IS INVITE-ONLY.

All participants in HCTP activities are expected to show respect and courtesy to others throughout the duration of an event, including at social events. We draw the participants’ attention to the HCTP Code of Conduct
