Event description
Regge theory was originally developed to capture the high-energy behavior of scattering amplitudes. In this talk, I will discuss how techniques from Regge theory can be used to predict Landau singularities of scattering amplitudes. We verify these predictions by numerically solving the Landau equations. This work is based on ongoing work with Sasha Zhiboedov and Miguel Correia.
