Fees, Scholarships and Funding

Higgs Scholarships

Six Higgs Scholarships will be awarded to students on the MSc in Mathematical Physics, MSc in Theoretical Physics and MSc in Particle and Nuclear Physics for academic year 2020-21. Each scholarship has a value of £5,000. The value of the award will be deducted from tuition fees.

Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit to students of any nationality. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, a UK first-class honours degree or its overseas equivalent. The closing date for scholarship applications is 1st June 2021.

The application process for academic year 2021/22 will open in early 2021.

Postgraduate loans

Postgraduate loans are available to UK and EU students. These can be used towards tuition fees and (in some cases) living expenses. For details, see the link below.
