We will examine the application of dissipation and fluctuation dynamics in the early Universe. This will include its applications in warm inflation, cosmic phase transitions and in the radiation dominated era. Recent developments from CMB analysis from Planck and BICEP2 are at the moment showing a unclear picture, and then next year will be important in developing a clear interpretation of the CMB.

However already its emerging that the cold inflation picture is showing gaps and modifications are needed to this scenario. On the other hand, the presence of radiation during inflation, which is part of the warm inflation picture, is increasingly showing to offer a plausible explanation of CMB data for spectrum, tensor-scalar ration and nongaussianity.
There are several theoretical issues we wish to address in the development of warm inflation, related to underlying quantum field theory issues. In addition we continue to develop more compelling warm inflation models. The success of warm inflation dynamics has led to examination of fluctuation-dissipation dynamics to other areas of cosmology. We are pursuing several seminal directions and this workshop will allow opportunity for extensive discussion and sharing of ideas.
